RELEASE OF THE DAY: CLOAK/DAGGER – “LOST ART”
A new CLOAK/DAGGER full-length is something received well around these parts. This one is less tied to a hardcore foundation, and more in-tune with loud, short blasts of off-kilter guitar punk rock. Think HOT SNAKES, meets newer FUCKED UP, but a notch less complicated. This is the first Jade Tree full-length since last year’s PAINT IT BLACK release New Lexicon. At least their selectivity has kept quality in mind.
