This past weekend, New Jersey’s legendary LIFETIME returned briefly for two triumphant shows in Philadelphia and one at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.

LIFETIME, who had originally been scheduled to reunite for just one show at Hellfest, had been convinced to reunite over their love of the music and the desire to take the opportunity to contribute to some of their favorite charities (listed below). The band then scrambled to reschedule their reunion appearance after Hellfest was cancelled mere days before it was scheduled to occur.

Within hours of Hellfest’s cancellation, LIFETIME had begun plotting a weekend of shows so as not to disappoint despondent fans. Eventually, three shows were in place and tickets for the events were quickly sold out.

The set list for all three shows drew only from their classic and records inciting crowd responses that were overwhelming, as fans from around the world gathered to sing along and pay tribute to the longstanding influence of LIFETIME‘s legacy in the punk community.
