JADE TREE AT THE PHILADELPHIA PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET THIS SATURDAY

Jade Tree and several of its employees will be in Philadelphia on June 28 for the Punk Rock Flea Market. Taking place at the First Unitarian Church, Jade Tree will be rolling up with its usual fest-style set-up of records and merchandise, as well as assorted Jade Tree collectables and rarities of all types. In addition, Jade Tree employees will have their personal item on hand: records, t-shirts, boxes of comics, toys, 3 giant bins of Star Wars goodies, books, and tons more. This is the one and only chance to get a look inside the Jade Tree vaults and come home with something special. This is no joke-there is literally a ton of stuff for sale. Here is more info from the R5 Productions newsletter:

THE PHILADELPHIA PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET is happening Saturday June 28 at noon. For those not in the know about this event, it’s basically just a normal flea market (some people thought that only "punk rock" people could sell stuff, or that only "punk rock items could be sold) , but with more of a focus on records, shirts, art, bikes etc. All sorts of usual flea market type stuff will be sold as well (like furniture, computer equipment, food) with the proceeds going to help pay for a brand new air conditioning system for the downstairs room where all of the shows are held at the First Unitarian Church. Not only will it keep concert go’ers cool, but also the dozens of children who attend early daycare services there. If you are interested in selling anything at the PRFM please get in touch via e-mail (djr5000@aol.com) , we have two options available : 1) You can donate whatever goods you would like, to be sold by our staff where 100% of the money raised will go directly to the air conditioning fund, or you can rent a half ($20) or full table ($40) to sell your own goods and keep the proceeds for yourself. There is a $5 entrance fee to peruse the multiple rooms (again 100% of that $5 goes to the air conditioning fund) which also gets you a raffle ticket to win free prizes such as gift certificates from your favorite record stores, bars and restaurants, a free lifetime pass to every r5 productions show ever and the chance to give legendary daily news reporter Dan Gross a mohawk. Our goal is to raise $18,000 over the course of several events.
