Due to drop into our nation's finest record outlets February 22nd, THE LOVED ONES self-titled CD EP (JT1102) is now available for pre-order. Produced by Brian Mcternan (Thrice, Hot Water Music, Strike Anywhere) the band's debut is a raucous exercise in razor-throated punk classics, a earnest mix of colossal hooks and ferocious energy. Owing as much to the mile-a-minute, whiskey slugging styling of Dillinger Four as the smarmy and cocksure swagger of early Elvis Costello, THE LOVED ONES offer a glimpse into the tracks that will surely launch them from the northeast basement circuit and into the pop public idiom - the Philly based band has just stepped off the road with Against Me! and The Bouncing Souls and are gearing up for a hectic New Year.
