THE NEW SCHEME REVISITS "4AM FRIDAY" WITH AVAIL'S TIM BARRY AND JADE TREE'S DARREN WALTERS
The latest issue of The New Scheme (Issue #19) features an interview with Tim Barry and Darren Walters about Avail's classic 4AM Friday record, which was reissued by Jade Tree in 2006. The article is available in print and online, so head over and check it out.

The collection of sing-a-long anthems on 4AM Friday ultimately anointed AVAIL kings of the Southern punk underground. The CD now features the 1997 album Live at the Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, a smoldering live set that’s testament to the unforgettable, high-octane shows that have become the band’s hallmark.
