STATISTICS TOWER PRE-ORDER AND TOUR

Suiting up in Lawrence, Kansas, STATISTICS has just waded out on tour with Azure Ray’s Maria Taylor, this July you’ll find Denver Dalley ricocheting all over the U.S. (with one date in Toronto), scattering his surging, twisting guitar rhythms and shoulder-nudging vocals in the process.

He’ll be playing some tunes from his new record, Often Lie, out July 12, which, if preordered via the good folks at along with any other CD from the Jade Tree catalog, comes with a Location is Everything Vol. 2 compilation CD absolutely free!

Denver and Maria’s tour comes to a smooth halt in their hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, at the end of July.

FALL/WINTER INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE

Jade Tree is now accepting resumes for Fall/Winter 2005 internships (September – December). The internship offers small office experience in a fast-paced, music-based environment and is ideal for a person with an English, Communications, Business or Music background. This is an unpaid internship and will offer college credit where applicable. Responsibilities entail assisting the staff with promotional efforts including mailings, data entry, restocking inventory and supplies, and much more depending on the situation. In addition, it’s tons of fun and a great experience for anyone interested in the day-to-day operations of an independent record label.

Candidate should be available for approximately 16 or more hours per week and should have experience with computers, File Maker Pro, Microsoft Entourage, Adobe Photoshop, and Internet applications. Reliable transportation is a must.

PAINT IT BLACK EURO TOUR UPDATE

Paint It Black is just about to conclude the remainder of their first European tour and the band will certainly be leaving on a high note, as they finish the tour at France’s Fury Fest on Saturday.

A brief list of tour highlights thus far have included the following:

Enthusiastic crowds in several cities who have helped the band sing along and made Paint It Black feel right at home.

Martin and Tomas, the PIB drivers extrodinaire who have made it their job to make sure the band arrives on time and intact to each show.

The wonderful cities of Berlin, Vienna, Milan, and Luzern.

The excellent football grounds and food specialties of each city.

Bands like Pilger, Down and Outs, Short Fuse, Force of Change, and Arrit Antraek.

And most of all the punks who have done their best to welcome PIB to their home towns each night. Thanks!

THE PROMISE RING REUNITE TO PLAY FLOWER15 WITH JIMMY EAT WORLD, ISIS, TED LEO, AND MORE

The lineup has been announced for the upcoming Flower Booking six-night fundraiser, . The six day event will take place November 8th through the 13th at the Metro in Chicago, IL.

The show is intended to commemorate the 15th year of the long-running booking agency and will feature appearances by Local H, Isis, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Jimmy Eat World, and a reunion by Milwaukee’s The Promise Ring with many more artists and band reunions expected to be announced over the next few weeks. The festival aims to raise $50,000 or more for P.L.A.Y. (Possibilities in Life: Art for Youth) a youth charity that aims to provide a constructive and creative outlet for young victims of abuse.
