DESPISTADO are currently in the process of planning their stateside invasion in support of the recently hatched, The Emergency Response CD EP (JT1096). In the meantime the press on the band has been red hot and heavy, with more stuff dropping than we can possibly keep up with. So grab yourself a cup of coffee and scope the links below to see what folks have been saying about one of Canada’s rapidly growing stars:

Want to see your face on the big screen? Been dying to have your moment in the Reality TV spotlight? Well, while your pitches are going unheard by the dorks at VH1 why not submit a video of your favorite KID DYNAMITE story for inclusion on the forthcoming DVD? Are you a fan, a super fan? Did you hate them then and still do? Let us know.

We are currently accepting personal video submissions the forthcoming KID DYNAMITE DVD. Got a favorite show or song, tell us about it. Did Colin back the van over you in a parking lot one night, now is the time to be heard (and seen!) Did you have a band that once covered a KD song? Got it on video? As we enter the final production stages on what will surely be the must have DVD of all time we want to hear from you.

We hope to use any and all material, pro-quality or low budget, positive or negative. So if you got it, send it to KD DVD c/o Jade Tree 2310 Kennwynn Rd. Wilmington, DE 19810 by August 20th, 2004. Don’t own a video camera but are still dying to tell your tale? We hear Best Buy have a 30 day money back guarantee, but don’t quote us on that one. DV or Mini-DV preferred but not required.

Louisville, Kentucky’s BREATHER RESIST have just put the finishing touches on their eleven song, 40 minute debut full length, Charmer (JT1098). Produced by Kurt Ballou (Isis, Cave In, Give Up the Ghost, Converge) the record takes off in many ways where their Only In The Morning EP left off, that is to say in throws of total madness, the end result is an absolute force to reckon with; equally vicious, progressive and thoroughly unpredictable. The band, made up of current Black Cross and one time National Acrobat member Evan Patterson on guitar, along with bassist Nick Thieneman, drummer Geoff Paton, and vocalist Steve Sindoni, deliver an explosive and volatile vision – scathing, brutal, and biting BREATHER RESIST are simply too explosive to ignore.

Everyone’s favorite musical pirate, CEX, is soon to be back out on the road and at it again, this time joined on stage by Aloha drummer Cale Parks. The duo will be performing songs from his dark-wave, mishmosh masterpiece, MARYLAND MANSIONS CD (JT1090) as well as a new batch of maddness sure to drop your jaw.

CEX’S live set will be, as always, the must see show of the summer.

Please consult the Cex for current dates.

THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES, whose Oxeneers or The Lion Sleeps When its Antelope Go Home (JT1097) will simply blow your mind when released this fall, are hitting the streets in order to road test their newest joint while kicking out all the jams from last years EP. The new full length, produced by Matt Bayles (From Ashes Rise, Blood Brothers, Pretty Girls Make Graves), sounds huge and the boys always kill it live, so we expect these will be an amazing batch of shows.

Joining the band this time out will be Indiana-based quintet , Madison Wisconsin’s , and Lookout Record’s . On the second leg of the tour they will be joined by Revelation rockers .
