Does Jade Tree have an internship program?
We do. When a position becomes available we will post it on our web site and in trade publications. As a note, when we do use interns, it is a non-paying for college credit only positions. These positions are usually not glamourous by any means, but do offer a unique experience. Although, we may not have an internship open right now, we are always interested in your ideas. If you would like to propose a special project that you could take on for the label, we're all ears.

Is Jade Tree hiring?
There are no openings at this time. When a position becomes available we will post it on our web site and in trade publications.

Do you have street teams?
No. We do not have an organized street team program. But we appreciate your desire to help us out. So, if you think you have a creative way to help us out in your hometown, drop us a line. Otherwise, the best thing you can do to help us is spread the word about your favorite Jade Tree bands.

Will you check out my band's MySpace page?
No. We may consider checking out your bands Band Camp page however! So, if you would like to send us a Band Camp or Sound Cloud link, go for it. Keep in mind, however, that we will not have time to respond to your email. Also remember, never add us to your email list.

Any advice for starting a label?
The best advice we can give isn't even our own! We instead refer you to the comprehensive "An Introductory Mechanic's Guide to Putting Out Records, Cassettes, and CDs" by Kristin Thomson and Jenny Toomey (who spent years together as the Simple Machines label) which can be viewed at: Indie Center

Can I come visit?
What are you doing in Delaware? You don't want to visit us! We're actually quite old and boring. Unless of course you bring us presents...

How many vinyl copies of each Jade Tree release were pressed? Were they on colored vinyl?
We do have this information, but it is buried somewhere deep in our archives. Eventually we will unearth it and add it to the website. Please be patient. Very patient.
