The Story
It should be no surprise Trial By Fire hails from Washington, D.C., home to Revolution Summer, a city and punk community famous for its idealistic fusion of music and activism. Although, as much as the band seems to draw from Rites of Spring and Ignition, its scope is likely to stretch beyond its D.C. roots to the mass movements of the '60s and out to any city, or district. Frontman Jason Yawn shouts his indictments, leaving room for melody from this passionate quartet, pursuing a more open-ended, guitar-riff-driven brother to contemporaries Strike Anywhere.
Where Are They Now
Mike Sneeringer
Recently relocating to Philly for his position as drum-smith in The Loved Ones, Mike can be found fretting about his bicycles, catering food to rich folk, and watchin' Ali G with his lady.
